REPLICATE – REnaissance of PLaces with Innovative Citizenship And TEchnologies – is a European research and development project that aims to deploy energy efficiency, mobility and ICT infrastructures in city districts.
The REPLICATE project is focused in smart city business models, and tailor-made solutions in the areas of energy, transport and ICT starting from the districts of three lead cities (called Smart City Lighthouses): Urumea Riverside (from San Sebastián), Novoli (from Florence) and Ashley, Easton and Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood ( from Bristol). Three follower cities are also participating in the project: Essen (Germany), Nilufer (Turkey) and Lausanne (Switzerland). In addition to this, there are also a number of ´observer´ cities, such as, Guangzhou (China) and Bogota (Colombia). The project has a Consortium of 36 partners.
Technomar, as a lead partner, aims to create and coordinate communication and dissemination materials activities during the whole project. Technomar is in charge of the daily management of the website, social media accounts and newsletter, among other communication tools.
